Humor intelligent creative

To laugh often no need ideas too elaborate: if used well can create situations hilarious wit from the elements simpler. In the blog Humor sucker for smart people bullets are dedicated to creating direct and witty wordplay result of forced sometimes, but never lacking in humor. His humor is silly only to the extent that you think "Why did not I had happened to me this relationship?" And not because it is simple or little developed. Moreover, some cartoons should be reviewed twice to catch the joke, and the drawings are great, ideal for putting wallpaper or avatar in any forum.

Here you have some of the cartoons that I really liked (the Eugene is great). What you prefer?

Google Logos

At this point I do not think there are many internet users who do not know what is a doodle , these artistic logos that Google displays on their website when there is a important event. Many are really creative and ease of downloading the object becomes an evocative electronic collections. And since I am always attracted to the collectible, as I said in a previous post, I got to work and treasure and 57 doodles different, yes, all of the Google website in Spain. Because many of you know that doodles are country, although some noted international standard for dates, and the height of the collection may be visited daily all Google portals in the world for possible doodles. Lately the trend

web giant is to their doodles interact with the user, a concept which reached its peak with a tribute to Pacman , with the funny colored balls fleeing the mouse or the latest video Lennon's birthday, which makes somewhat difficult to keep outside a screenshot.

Anyway, I have not written this post to show you my collection of doodles still too small and recent, but to invite you to visit the following link which makes a selection of 45 best doodle s , both overall and in different countries (There is one in Spain devoted to patios.) Some are a real waste of creativity and possibly the best that can be found in logo design. My favorites are the Pi Day and the birthday of HG Wells. I encourage everyone to comenteis about your favorites and more about a link doodles you to know.

PS: To read more about the doodles with a touch of humor, here is the entry my friend mowy published in Patapam Pish.

Sell Plasma In Orlando

A sea of pipes

It's amazing the work that is now installed in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern in London, that huge atrium open to the creativity of artists and where they have been as spectacular as assemblies of Miroslaw Balka Carten or Hoeller. It turns out that the Chinese conceptual artist Ai Weiwei has come up with the idea of filling it with a hundred million sunflower made of porcelain, a true "work of Chinese" in 1600 who helped craft, which have been painted by hand one by one each little seed for two years.

is a work that allows full interaction with the public. Because the thing not stay in visual awe that can cause 1000 square meters filled with pipes, but the main thing is that people walk on them, touch them, lie down ... and even removes some of remembrance, although not to recommend the Tate. But now what's the big pipe? As well as aiming a direct call to the senses of the public, the idea has emerged from the evocation of China Cultural Revolution, when peasants evaded while eating pipes were represented by the propaganda like sunflowers to the sun worship Mao.

And Ai Weiwei has always tried to aerate the repression suffered in China by the communist regime and try to do something raise awareness on this issue, among other reasons because his father, the great Chinese poet Ai Quin, was harshly punished and banished to the most inhospitable country. So, helped design the national stadium of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, hoping that this would be a step towards democratization, but then refused to have anything to do with the project in view of the great farce organized by the government, its unwillingness to change. His art is heavily influenced by Dadaism and Pop Art, his most famous being the
series of photographs that appear breaking a vase ancient Han Dynasty As a symbol of the liberation of cultural identity, or photographs that you see his hand with the middle finger extended in places like Tiananmen or White House. If you want to know more about this interesting artist, I recommend this report in El Pais .

(Via ABC )

Update (15/10/2010): Oh dear. I just found out that you can no longer step on the pipes because the dust off due to the large influx of visitors is damaging health. A pity.

Masterlock Padlock Recovery

Nobel Vargas Llosa

After much time as possible candidate at last been granted the Nobel Prize for Literature to Mario Vargas Llosa for his "cartography of the structures of power and its scathing images individual resistance, revolt and defeat "(synthetic beautifully, as always, the reasons for the Swedish Academy.) Vargas Llosa is the author of, among others, The Feast of the Goat, City and dogs or Pantoja and the Special , and one of the most important contemporary writers. It also shuffled winners Corman McCarthy to Haruki Murakami, although it is rare for known characters get the award.

It was time that the Academy do justice to so important a writer like Vargas Llosa, although it is difficult to select candidates who will remain in the future in the annals as the key figures in the history of literature (especially whether to grant the award before they die), and so there have been many great geniuses who have been awarded the golden medal, as Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, Franz Kafka, Marcel Proust, James Joyce, Henry James, Vladimir Nabokov , Graham Greene, Jorge Luis Borges or Julio Cortázar.

Incidentally, I recommend official website of the Nobel Prizes , where in addition to inform the winners and nominations for this year can consult the list of all the winners in any field.

How Long Can You Leave Sushi Sit Out

When I recently saw in San Sebastian and announced a concert Tones of Pink, a Pink Floyd tribute band, I decided to go because I thought it would be a group of fans more than anything I am not surprised having seen Roger Waters playing The Dark Side of The Moon and the entrance to his upcoming concert in Madrid next March and in the pocket. But how wrong I was! The concert they gave last night in the El Tren de Granada was truly spectacular: more than two hours playing different themes of English group with incredible accuracy, the result of having studied thoroughly the songs of this great band.

And every member had assigned its role, perfectly in sync with others. Alvaro Espinosa, lead vocals and guitar, was delivered as one, played almost perfectly to the solos on the original disks, and all this with apparent calmness, carried away by the music, as if they feed on. The other members are mostly bearish Ceferino Fernandez, who also frequently intervened on vocals, Gonzalo Palacios, saxophone and guitar; Nacho Aparicio, who was driving the keyboard and sampler, so fundamental in a tribute group if you want to play the tracks closely as possible, and drummer Antonio Fernández. There

truly epic moments, like when Cefe took the megaphone in The Thin Ice or when the music volume fell sharply at the end of Have a Cigar , giving the feeling that they were actually playing the Pink Floyd tracks in stereo. My favorites were Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Money latter impeccable, from the pace of Nacho the beginning to the variations introduced Álvaro guitar at the end, past the spectacular saxophone solo Gonzalo . And all in awe, and the Lord of Malaga next to him wondering how noses could be so good, he had seen Pink Floyd performing in Madrid for some time. A group desmerecería not begin to act out of our country, possibly the next step in The similarity score after what he's doing now with Roger Waters tour.

PS: For logistical problems (I have with me the power I used the camera ¬ ¬) photography is the concert of Granada, sorry. In return I leave you a video that is of this concert, but regulera quality. By the way, the website of the Pink Tones is great, and there you can watch videos, see the setlist or inform of upcoming concerts.

Does Fuze Slenderize Make You Poop

Pink Tones Music from the Penguin Cafe

In the history of modern music style groups are really hard to describe, whose compositions are closed beyond gender classification. This happens to the great English band Penguin Cafe Orchestra, whose debut album, Music from the Penguin Cafe , published in 1976 and sponsored by Brian Eno's label, is a marvel of composition. Let

before some of the group, whose core was formed by composer and arranger Simon Jeffes and cellist Helen Liebmann. The other musicians were chosen as may be requested composite parts by Jeffes, whose death in 1997 ended the band after 24 years of experience. Apparently the name has its origin in febrile delirium Jeffes suffered in 1972 after eating fish in poor condition (more information at Wikipedia ).

Their music combines influences of folk music, classical music (especially baroque chamber music) and jazz. Jeffes very disparate styles fused with real expertise, resulting in a mostly instrumental compositions where experimentation is the main feature. The covers of his albums, with a great surreal, typically include a penguin-headed men in various activities.

As Music from the Penguin Cafe , I must say that a disc is difficult to analyze in a first hearing. The album opens with Penguin Cafe Single , which has a melody that seems to evoke a quiet summer afternoon and the title ironic about the lack of commercial screening of the band. This is followed Zopf, consisting of seven separate movements and different styles, and in which we find the only vocal on the disc. Perhaps the most successful is the wonderful The sound of someone you love who's going away and it Does not Matter , whose 11 minutes perfectly reflect the feelings involved in the long title (something like "the sound of someone dear to be and no matter"), from the melancholy tone that seems to dominate the beginning and end of the piece sounds more violent until appearing in the second half.

In short, this is a superb album recorded with exquisite taste, to listen quietly in the shade of a garden. An album was recorded entirely outside the commercial scene then and which still retains its freshness and originality intact.

Invite Verbiage To Suite At Twins Game

R. Crumb, Memories and Opinions

is undeniable that Robert Crumb is a benchmark in the world of comics. Main operator of the underground genre at 60, his drawings delicacies tear without the hypocritical facade built by Western society, exposing the amorality that really governs. Although addition of satirize society, Crumb is the first to be ridiculed himself in his works, which serve largely as a way out of all his neuroses and sexual obsessions.

R. Crumb. memories and opinions of Crumb and Peter Poplaski itself seems to be the definitive work on the artist, where their testimony is interspersed with numerous images on an issue very carefully. Through four parts (Fear, Clarity, Power and Old Age), in which the text is gradually giving more and more space to pictures, we try to bring the reader into the artist's creative process and his evolution from his early work on Zap Comix until his retirement in France (its publication was before the great Genesis), using not only helps Crumb cartoons and drawings, but also of other authors who influenced him, as well as photographs, posters and film stills or advertising exhibitions. A whole which must be added a CD compilation of hits by Crumb issues with their various groups (yes, he also enjoys playing the banjo and is a compulsive collector of music from the 20) and a sea of friendly bookmarks.

'll be thinking that an issue like this, with color illustrations and a CD should not be cheap. Indeed, the book that blew up next to cost about 35 €, which is excessive given their format. Still, a payment becomes almost essential for any diehard fan, so much for the pleasure of reading as abundant salivation attacks that can cause seeing through a glass window. A fascinating journey the life of this great artist with a "huge ego" (his words) but is an expert on laughter itself.

PS: Sorry for not posted anything so far in September, but I've been traveling and it has been impossible. But starting today, and with the arrival of the academic year, I hope to continue a steady pace of publication.

Outdoor Gay Cruise Areas New Jersey

Game & Watch or the irreplaceable charm of Mr. censor

Menudo appliance that has fallen into my hands! A Game & Watch Fire of year 81, after finding piles of model fit, works great.

But one thing. For people unfamiliar with the Game & Watch, is an electronic game series from Nintendo released in 1980 and were the predecessors of the portable consoles. Each had a single game with two difficulty modes (Game A and Game B) and the control was quite simple, usually with only two buttons (left and right) but then some including a crossbar. The games were very simple but extremely addictive and had a variety: it came to market about 60 types between 1980 and 1991. In addition, served as a clock and alarm clock, so it never went out.

Now they have become a collector's item and are sold at a high price. As for my experience, since I saw a couple of them in a museum in Milan and later in New York Nintendoworld, I loved the gadget and, in my desire known collector, which is attached to my date birth would not let me enjoy them, I wanted to get one as it were. He remembered a great reissue they did for Game Boy Color classic games from the Game & Watch I let a neighbor and to which I took several hours (which by the way, I'd also have uu). Well, suddenly a week ago I find a table in the living room of my grandparents, who had apparently been of my cousins.

With the tremendous graphics that are made today can not believe it does not surpass the level of fun and addiction of these little games. In this particular Fire, which belongs to the series Widescreen, you drive to two firefighters who have a trampoline, and various puppets (which later became known as Mr. Game & Watch) jump from the windows of a building in flames. Your mission is to prevent dropping them and guide them safely to the ambulance on the other side of the screen. For my part, I've taken a good number of games (451 points record in Game A) and I even wore it one day wake up (what a wonderful awakening with mono sound of the gadget!). To see him in action, here are a video in which I see my sister playing. And if you had any or you have any, I would like to share your experiences in the comments.

Friendship Bracelet Instruct

I found it very interesting article I found in The Country about film censorship in Spain, coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of premiere in our country La Dolce Vita, one of the masterpieces of Fellini, in reality twenty years old. What led to the banning of the film was not so much the famous scene in which Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg bathing in the Trevi Fountain as the party almost orgiastic Sutri Castle.

censorship, conducted by the High Board of Film Orientation, was often crude, as when the pair were brothers adulterous Mogambo John Ford. It is seen that incest was preferable to adultery, it does not conceal the kisses or jealousy, but then removed in Pasolini's Oedipus Rex the scene where the protagonist Yoclasta sleeps with his own mother, essential to understanding the tragedy. And the height of tacky was to change the bleak end of such films as Bicycle Thief or The 400 Blows adding a voiceover that radically transformed the meaning.

Anyway, what else have we lost in those years of Franco's regime, not only on film censorship coming from outside, but rather on the production country, which was quite limited to geniuses like Berlanga. Country ... If you want to know more do not fail to read the original article .

How wonderful Tempus II, the video that was filmed Philip Heron, a British student of art and design, which are different impacts in slow motion. From a hammer smashing an orange to a karateka breaking a pile of bricks, the scenes are truly spectacular and the end result is very artistic. Although completely different style is also very well the first part, I Tempus. I recommend you see them full screen, of course.

How To Remove My Sony Car Radio

Origin or do not trust the bulk of Internet

When a friend told me about the release of Origin , the new film by Christopher Nolan, I could not help feeling curious about the aroused criticism Filmaffinity , one of the most visited websites about movies. It turns out that just premiered nearly reached a score of nine points, which was then down to 8.2 today. To give you an idea of the scale with which we deal, the films with the highest score on the website are Godfather, with 9.1; The Godfather II, with 8.9, and City Lights with 8.7. Ie Source was for some time among the permanent fixture in the history of cinema.

With a very warm welcome, why not go see it? Needless to say, the forecasts were not met: sorry, but this is not a new masterpiece that gives a twist to this little creative film beginning of the century. As such, the film is not bad. The script is quite correct, very sow doubts and twists, following the trend of this intriguing film the end of 90 which involves both the brain of the viewer that they end up smoking while trying to uncover details of the plot, "though I must say that some aspects of it are a bit out of tune (since when the owner of a multinational risks to "control" the dirty work?) and on a good piece of footage, too many action scenes and explosions very far blockbuster that makes some pieces in a pretty boring hosts festival. Of course, the setting and background are quite original, with all these ideas in the levels of sleep and the possibility of drilling into them.

So what hell is what happened on the Internet? Why do so many people has been launched to give such a high score to the film and why it has been highly praised by critics (according to excerpts of the press that appear on the same sheet Filmaffinity )? We live in a society that tends to glorify the ephemeral, to inflame with something with the same ease with which it is set aside and that is further obscured with bold visual montages and convoluted plots. I would like to see the passion it Source within, say, 10 or 15 years. The same happens to the journalists, who tend to use big words to give ground to some which will not be discussed shortly, exaggerating its importance. E

Internet is the main vehicle of expression of this, where everyone expresses their opinion and word travels like wildfire. We were obsessed with democratic criteria apply to all, and we have to assume that things are not correct because it makes the most (even incorrect eye), but we are to form our own critical vision to distinguish between the different views. This reminds me of that poster that appears in The Simpsons : "50 million smokers can not be wrong!".

Finally, moral: Take with caution first worked-such views and opinions so beware of majority if not gone long enough to dilute the initial enthusiasm sometimes exaggerated.

Wedding Program Honoring Deceased Wording

not miss the videos I found in Here I was yesterday ... , where an anonymous Internet user shows the power of a mini gun made by himself, based on the shape and functioning of the Napoleonic cannon. It's really amazing what you can do with cans, plates, jars, bottles (amazing how Smirnoff bursts) and even a computer monitor. If were sold and would not hesitate to buy it, because the small cannon is lovely, aside from its amazing power. But in addition to being made entirely by hand (cost an arm and a leg), its creator can not put it on sale for legal reasons. And, this is a full-fledged weapon!

Schwarzkopf At Walmart

Caramba with small cannon hidden engravings of William Blake to

What was the surprise of the collector who in the seventies found innocent in a box of books Second-hand eight engravings of William Blake, dedicated to illustrating three of his works. These small pictures, which were bought by the Tate group earlier this year, are now part of the new exhibition at the Tate Britain in London, dedicated to the Romantic artists.

Many drawings and engravings by Blake are really disturbing, with those demons and form urine so characteristic of British poet. The style of some of them simple and defined lines, seems to be the precursor of the comics. Although I could not find references (memory write), I remember last year when I was at the Tate Britain had a special room devoted to the drawings of Blake. A work in particular caught my attention, a watercolor (I think) landscape on which was a landscape with trees whose lines reminded me of Giraud in Lieutenant Blueberry.

no doubt that these prints are a wonderful discovery of a versatile and eccentric artist, who, to give an example of his peculiar behavior, liked to sit naked with his wife in the garden of his house to read Milton.

Got My Tongue Pierced And My Mouth Feels Dry

Bugs microcospio

are really amazing photos of insects and mites that retired British scientist has taken Steve Gschmeissner with a scanning electron microscope. Particularly striking is the wide variety of existing forms and how some are complex, despite its diminutive size. The

has surprised me most was that of common silver minnow , whose meeting in the bathroom is my issue almost daily, and whose portrait heads this article. It turns out that this is a living fossil because its structure has remained virtually unchanged for 400 million years, preserving the appearance of the first insects that existed on Earth, who did not develop wings until later. By contrast, most non-winged insects come from ancestors they did have wings. Though easy to kill because of their poor reflexes, can live more than eight years and are really nasty when they appear suddenly from the pages of old books.

Cover Letter For Victoria Secret

What has been lost

In El Pais published an article today which a brief review of ten projects of films that did not go ahead because of the producers. They are all ambitious projects, super risky assumption that its promoters had an enormous success or a total ruin.

But what would have been wonderful to see Kubrick's Napoleon, played by Jack Nicholson, in the battle of Waterloo, surrounded by thousands of extras, something like Barry Lyndon's wonderful but way. Or that Batman in the forties directed by Orson Welles, starring Gregory Peck and the diva Marlene Dietrich as Catwoman, only seven years after the character appeared in his first comic. Not to mention the great (I have no doubt) Genesis Bresson film or subjective (from the point of view of the protagonist) of Hitchcock.

Anyway, we've run out of big jewelry. And which, lest we forget, the film is an expensive art and producers have to seek their profitability above all, what can we do.

I Think My Penis Is Small

cinema home receiver AM

You know that I normally do not talk about my career, Telecommunications Engineering, in this blog. But I think that this contribution may seem odd to those who you feel attracted to electronics. It is a subject that I had to do with my friend Alberto an AM radio receiver. The result you can see the photo above and in the accompanying video. The antenna is a bit limited, so you can only get a single station. Specifically has been designed to capture some around 1080 kHz (in Grenada Cadena SER, which receives more power.)

I commented a bit about the structure of the apparatus, whose components are welded into a plate of bakelite. On the left is the antenna, which is not only a ferrite cylinder with two coils of copper, which allows an input impedance higher or lower. The resulting circuit is tuned to 1 MHz or so, and is fitted with a variable capacitor.

The next stage is a common-emitter amplifier is also tuned to 1 MHz, which increases the level of the signal captured by the antenna. This is introduced into a mixer that multiplies with a harmonic signal with the same frequency as the station to listen (also fits with a variable capacitor) and, after filtering and removing high frequency components is obtained at last the voice signal demodulated.

The final signal is amplified and passed to the audio stage, that fits so you can hear the speaker. Everything is powered with 5 V, obtained from a 9 V battery from a controller (you can see above the speaker.)

I must say I quite enjoyed doing the radio, although it is true that sometimes a bit desperate and it is indispensable to access to certain equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator and DC source) to go testing each module separately, because, as mountain all at once probably will not work the first time.

Pinocchio: The vampire murderer

is clear that the rewrite of classic with vampire or zombie backdrop is fashionable. There is more to see, for example, Pride and Prejudice and zombies , where there is a new vision of Austen's novel.

Well, thanks to Jail Paper I heard of the existence of the graphic novel Pinocchio: A Vampire Slayer (already published two volumes), an adaptation of the famous story in which Geppetto killed by a vampire and decides to avenge his wooden son. And who better than to kill vampires that someone who has a wooden stake every time you tell lies.

course, an original idea for a comic that looks fun and I think it has come to our country (which is curious, to go to the comments link). Here you have the promotional video at the beginning of the work:

Most Powerful Combi Boiler 2010

Well, come August, the blog returns to its usual activity, at least for this month.

Anyone who has read The Iliad, by Homer, will have seen that in the battles, meticulously described, there are a lot of characters (not only warriors but also capricious gods) which sometimes confuse the reader. To help in reading or rereading of the work, the author of The Flying Fish, great cultural blog, has compiled data on different graphs of the work (number of casualties caused by each leader, number of ships of each army, etc.) and outlined what happens in every battle. This is a great idea and carefully crafted, allowing us to better enjoy the work and even go to a particular passage, we can follow step by step.

PS: If I have time, and making my recent stay in Dublin, might do something similar with Joyce's Ulysses ...

As many will have seen, the current update rate blog is pretty low, not to say that almost approaches zero. The fault lies with the reviews of the faculty, that prevent me from sitting quietly to write new entries. If this is joined by the abandonment of my staff, which has caused some time now I just have to take care of all the entries, I find it impossible make new songs.

Because the exam period has not ended and, just when it ends, I will travel in Discorporate new entries will not appear until the month of August (maybe end of July). Sorry for my readers, but I promise that when I return I will try to update daily news with more cultural, scientific notes and reviews of music, books, comics and movies, that I have several things in the pipeline. School De Everett & Corrigan

The surrealist movement was perhaps one of the most groundbreaking in the context of the vanguards of the 20's. With their particular evocation of dreams, involved the incorporation of the subconscious in art, something like an artistic reflection of the theories of psychoanalysis, not yet fully assimilated by most of society. Whenever there is talk of surrealism usually remember the paintings of Dali, Bunuel films the first time or even a verse of André Breton, but often overlooked photography, which also had a lot of weight within the genre.

exposure Subversion images, from tomorrow until September 12 will be open in Madrid in Room Recoletos Mapfre Foundation, seeks to bring the public the most important visual documents of this movement. Thus, we find numerous photographs, both artistic character (like the famous violin body-Kiki de Montparnasse, by Man Ray) and documentary, but also films, exquisite corpse or collages, many of which show the pataphysical Dadaist heritage and gender. I personally stick with the nice L'Esprit de l'escalier , Marcel Marien, who heads this article.

And it Site the Mapfre Foundation has prepared for the show is simply spectacular, and cycles through the exhibits without leaving home. Thanks to a fantastic 3D imaging system, you can tour the exhibition halls, allowing her to approach those who live far from the capital, but only you can see in detail some selected works.

Life Expectancy For Man With Lymphoma

images of surrealism and the Order of the Bloomsday

Joyce seems lately walks a lot for this blog, but I could not ignore the presentation in Dublin Order of Finnegans , a book of stories written by the members of this club.

But go slowly: it is now held in the Irish capital Bloomsday, the celebration that pays tribute to Joyce and Ulysses , which takes place on June 16, 1904. On this day, many Dubliners take to the streets dressed as Leopold Bloom, Molly Bloom and Stephen Dedalus to recreate the events of the novel. Theatres and street dancing, public readings of Ulysses ... an event is attended by thousands. Though perhaps a bit disappointed to know that few of the attendees have read Ulysses as a reporter showed Irish Times, which did not find any native who had read the entire piece.

The Order of Finnegans was founded in 2008, for a Bloomsday , and their purpose are the work of Joyce revere above all things and attend every June 16 in Dublin. It consists of five writers and one editor, among which Vila-Matas, although each year can admit a new member. The name, oddly enough, it is not due to the novel by Joyce, Finnegans Wake (which, incidentally, much to the annoyance of mine is decommissioned in Spain since the early 90's, and I have not been able to get or second hand), but the pub Finnegans of Dalkey, a town near Dublin (hence "the" and not "of").

Well, as commented at the beginning of the entry, this Order has just published a book compiling stories related to Dublin and Ulysses and several critical essays and literary theory. What is most striking is the cover: a photograph of Marilyn Monroe in swimsuit reading Ulysses , which apparently was published at the time in any American magazine. Since then, it seems a very interesting proposal for all those lovers of literature Joyce.

I would like to finish without making a point about the role of Vila-Matas therein. As many of you know, the plot of the latest novel by Catalan, Dublinesca , who starred in an entry in this blog when it was published, revolves around Bloomsday and Dublin. Well, I already read the novel and looking for information on the Order of Finnegans , I've noticed he has a lot of autobiographical, because what happens to the protagonist is very similar to the author's experience Dublin the day of the founding of the Order. The same day (although I'm overreaching a bit in length input), I recommend Dublinesca , that while weakens a bit in the second half, is full of ironic winks and interesting thoughts on the future of the novel.

Herpe Outbreak On Stomach Look Like

Friday as Friday, a man to the break should go out. Out of people to alcohol:) We did it with great desire after my namowach:)

Because of this the Greg resides Lomza (though a very nice place) we went to the only possible garden in the city. Garden in my friends took the name "Mushroom," and that because of his appearance, like a hat from the fungus. In "Grzybku" unfortunately there is practically no choice of alcohol than beer and is in addition Lomza, but I managed to get the Desperados. there was the beer selection: Lomza 0.5 - 5zl, Lomza 0.3 - 4.5 zł, Desperados-8 zł, Cooler box-6PLN). Sitting in the garden it can not be pick up the charm that brings to mind a relaxing summer, holidays, when a person can lie all day in the sun and in the evening to meet with friends and drink with them a cold beer. In the garden was a fountain. It is a pity to not acting ... besides that of the negative things that we encountered was that when dusk settled, the lady bartender culturally approached each table outside and demands for him something that was supposed to resemble a lantern with a candle inside, and I personally reminded torch. So culturally, I told the lady we thank for the lamp. Lady replied, " no it is not "(oh, this culture of Lomza)

Then we went to the club's billiard 54th This club is the only club in Lomza pool has 4 professional, full-sized billiards tables and, of course, when you can sit and drink beer, because the pool owner of the club to be honest in Lomza splajtował ... This club is divided into two zones for smokers and nonsmokers, which in total is pointless (it made me Catherine), because people who smoke-nilly (or rather did not want to) inhale the stench of tobacco entire exhaled by people from other parts of room, which you mention is nothing separated. These parts differ only in that the smoking is part of the carpet and tables, while in the non-smoking, there is no carpet, and couches are. This place is like on the ground that there is no lansiarstwa, no one no one looks crooked eye, so what the most important customers' average age is close to our age:) and Greg personally love this place because there are TraceTv: D

After leaving in 1954 we went to a pizzeria named Margherita. Like a typical name, cheesy, zakrawająca of kitsch. But after talking with the owner who explained that he called this place in honor of his wife, decided to change his mind. And let the guy have a Margherita:) decor cultured, calm, recalled to mind his own little room in which a person feels very safe. On the walls of individual lamps, whose light gave this place a coziness.

the middle of the room stood a big flower or maybe a tree whose name I do not know, but it looked like some palm

:)

Pizzeria is apparently a very Italian atmosphere, because as I told the owner is italian but from conversations with him I felt nothing of the sort. Overall a very nice pizza, cozy, but unfortunately we felt like we were there in Italy. We ordered a pizza with anchovies, tuna, capers, olives - 21 zł. All pizzas have a diameter of 31 cm. I must admit the pizza delicious. The taste has been made to feel from the heart, and not as popular pizzerias all over the dough and thrown into the furnace, because the client and so will eat. The local pizza was made with passion, which was felt in every taste. In addition to the pizza we ordered mulled beer (6 zł), to order the owner added cloves and cinnamon (a little strange, because I think the beer, mulled spices should be ...). Beer was good, especially that even after an hour it was still warm. Are provided in mugs from which emerged a golden foam, and the glass could be seen flying cloves.

Such a nice place here, full of quiet, chill atmosphere of the evening finished his journey, on Friday:)

Is Polymyxin B Sulfate The Same As Sulfa

Morning headache?

Attractive Saturday

weekend we spend in Lomza, but the excess capacity of different cultural and encouraged us to stay in Warsaw - and to download Grześ to us:)

on Saturday early afternoon we went for a picnic, "The Dutchman!" organized on the streets of Winnie the Pooh - orange, despite the clouds very clear. Kids doily cow, danced to the rhythm of the concerts you've heard only through their music and run around with balloons in their hands, while the adults stood in line for autographs from Mrs. Jungian and did take pictures of lewkami - allegedly hid the przebraniami a very beautiful woman:).

From Winnie the Pooh to the Old Town close by, so we went in that direction in order to follow the pigeons - though I must admit that our attention in particular caught the old lady resting on the bench.

La Fiesta

(digression)
last weekend we went to La Fiesta on Foksal, in order to verify the quality of margaritas (try the whole capital.)
In brief: Ms waitress greeted us, which is not at all interested in the fact that we went to them, and my question is where we sit odburknęła and she waved her hand toward the stairs "down". At the bottom you have the waiter was much more polite, but it is completely ceased to be of interest to us after the administration of the contract - and waited for the opportunity to make further orders and for the account. For the waiters put a big minus.
street-level interior is cheesy and a bit too overwhelming, while the bottom is very nice - the impression of a large przestrzenniejszego, although the only three tables and a bar, mainly due to the lack of filling up the environment - intense colors of the walls and sombreros hanging on them is the main design the bottom part of the premises.
merits: Margarita (classical) in Warsaw in size (small, a similar volume to that of Taqueria mexicana), and tasted delicious - it had a thick consistency as a result of mixing a drink with ice absolutely fragmented. Not too sweet, not too sour, not too much alcohol - mainly powalała consistency, really satisfactory.
Blow job (baileys, amaretto, vodka, crushed ice) - pretty sweet, but tasty, served in a tall glass. Protruded from the tip of the banana ice:) what initially caused mild consternation :) - But it tasted delicious. Drink, however, soon ended - as it turned out the most is made up of crushed ice.
The kit we ordered, thrilled with the first experience in the Taqueria Mexicana peppers, jalapenos - La Fiesta served as stuffed with cheese, fried in batter, with cream sauce. We received four peppers, which are absolutely najedliśmy:). The cheese in the middle of a semi-fluid (super!), while the sauce was a simple cream. La Fiesta
truly appreciate - a big minus for the waiters, good drinks, delicious peppers!, but minus a bit too high prices.

Frida

So we decided to continue our search for the perfect margarita (our model is the one with the mexican, which so far beats any other on the head) and .. Our experience with the jalapenos:)

We went to the restaurant, which according to official information, was founded by friends whose dream was to create a place where they can show their passion and accept all the homely atmosphere. Frida at the New World, is decorated with the class - all the attention is drawn here, both orginalna hanging lamp over the entrance and lit bar, or a column covered with red flowers (great idea!), English paintings, a stylized menu on the menu straight from the Westerns, etc. garden nice ladies greeted us and invited the waitress to measure, yet offered us an absolute booking a table, which was to be free for another hour - absolutely positive introduction.
margaritas we ordered three small (40 ml tequila, which is standard size, lemon and blue) and nachosy baked with cheese and jalapenos.
Drinks are in the classic margarita glasses, while the banks have not been sprinkled with salt - in our company that just came out in plus. Margarita tangy, refreshing (definitely much better than that given in too sour Taqueria mexicana), but it turned out that blue tastes exactly like lemon! We are also surprised that the menu were these four margaritas - a classic, blue, strawberry and lemon, but my question is, how it differs from the classic lemon, we received a reply that it is a classic strawberry - hmmm.
Nachosy are nice (you can see that visually local refined in detail, together with the dishes, etc.!), but the chips themselves were a bit too sharp as to combine them with the jalapenos and the amount of peppers disappointed us.
While the Taqueria Mexicana otrzymaliśy nachosy slices studded with whole peppers even here on the plate nachosów pokrojono in cubes of about one large peppers. Plus however seal the cheese in a real, rather than pouring hot sauce.
very big minus for the lack of napkins on the table and need to wait for the waitress to ask for it.
decent prices!

nachos con jalapenos 15 PLN

The Mexican

After leaving we went to the Frida cult place for us (The Mexican on Krywult) for comparison and to show the place Grzesiowi:). While Frida
a senorita among Mexican places in Warsaw, it is a true Mexican gringo:) - a separate building, a native of Mexico, in conjunction with a fountain decorated with a romantic garden, are the quintessence of what we expect from a Mexican pub - familiarity and lack of hypertrophy form over content. Here, every drink of weapons by a large content, not form glass. Classically
already ordered three grande margarita (classic, lemon), and (for the first time!) Jalapeno peppers.
peppers got the typical mexicana plate in the shape of a star - five were nafaszerowanych cheese peppers (texture constant twarożkowata, which was a disadvantage in relation to the stuffing jalapenos with La Fiesta!) Spanierowanych (you could feel the freshness!) And served with two sauces - tomato sauce and pepper. For the basil sprig. Excellent, worth recommending to fans of all tastes sharp! Margarita
as always the best - big, sweet, with a distinct hint of tequila, decided favorite, as you can see so far none of us had been dethroned by any of a variety of Warsaw. Besides
- great, friendly service, sombrero on their heads, shared photos, the whole restaurant and a garden filled to the brim - funny as in Mexico! Prices
really adequate for the size and quality.

Night of Museums

It still was not the end of the evening .. On Saturday, the whole Polish Night at the Museum took place.
so walked back to the house at Foksal 11 - first saw a brave video in one of the corners (even a bit too bold, as shown on the faces of my companions;), then walked into a room decorated by the Association of Graphic Artists - duplex room , cluttered various books, posters, installations we visited the zgaszonym light from a flashlight słaboświecącą (distributed prior to entry) in his hand.
incredibly intriguing idea, inside we met up with another group, not knowing that what we touch, searched the unknown on their knees, with a slight trembling of the hands and throat constricted by fear of the unknown - everyone wanted to bring a souvenir from the measure, according to the rules of
) . The truth and the details of the pictures inside came out with the flash! :).
Foksal happened tonight artistic basin - the High School and Middle School Association for Culture and Education presented a presentation and exhibition of works by students and graduates - particularly aroused my sympathy floor in one of the rooms, consisting of gray boards, incredibly contrasting with the perfect white walls:)
At the end of the evening we went to the yard Jablkowski gallery, listen to DJ's and an exhibition of photos, and then, after long walk, we went home. At bedtime zaserwowaliśmy
the casserole and .. jalapenos with cream sauce! :)
